Each second elapsed deducts 1 point. Each hint deducts 30 points. Floor 0.

Base per solved word, minus one point per second elapsed, minus 30 per hint. Floor at 0.

The higher score wins. A tied score goes to the faster finish. Same score and same time: both stakes are refunded.

A daily tournament entry is $0.50.

Stakes are $0.60, $1.20, $3.00, $6.00, $15.00, and both players put up the same amount.
